Blanket flower is super easy to grow from seed either indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost or planted directly in the ground. Plant the seeds outside at the same time that you plant the sunflowers, 8 to 12 seeds every 12-15 inches apart. After two years the plants will be 30” tall and give you weeks of non-stop color each year. If you remove spent blooms before they go to seed you will prolong the bloom time.
Plant them alongside ‘Aurea Purea’ and/or ‘Arizona Apricot’
